OH DANG!
Don't you know not to sneak up on a sleeping cat? Oh well, now that you're here, I guess you want something otherwise you probably wouldn't be here.
This is a site for cats, about cats, and by cats. My name is Chatty. I love to talk even when no one wants to listen. I have several soapboxes I like to jump on because I am very opinionated. You will learn more about that on other pages but for right now, I'd like to introduce you to some other members of our little cat community.
This is SYLVESTER. He is our professional Cat Napper. You can tell that by the sleepy look on his face. He can nap anywhere, anytime, anyplace and in any position. His favorite place is draped over the back of a recliner or the sofa. He looks like one of them Bearskin rugs you see tossed in front of a fireplace. Maybe I can get a picture of that for you. It is verrrry funny.
Should any of you guys need napping lessons, he will have a paws-on instructional video for sale shortly. He is an excellent instructor.
Here's RASCAL, the Watch Cat and the mirror image of his brother, Sylvester. Rascal watches everything that goes on, he doesn't do anything about it but he is a highly trained observer. He is especially proficient at bird and mouse watching. I remember one night when a mouse got into the house and our female staff was terrified. Rascal was instantly alert to the danger. He hunkered down, whiskers forward, ears flat, eyes as big as saucers. He watched that mouse with such intensity and intimidation, that eventually the mouse got so exhausted from all the observation, he ran out of the house never to be seen again.
Rascal won "The Prince of Mousers Award" for that display of bravery and daring in the face of extreme danger. You may want to order his new book "Memoirs of a Mouser" as soon as it comes off the press.
